Great trip up to Monte Solaro via the cable car. So peaceful after the hustle and bustle of Capri and Anacapri. We didn't visit the cafe at the top but it looked nice. There were lovely distant views from the top, viewing platform and walks.
Wonderful views of Capri. Chair lift is fun and only takes 8 mins or so. Reasonably priced.
Highlight of the trip, fun chairlift ride with storage available at the bottom. Amazing views at all time and a small cafe at the top.
14 euros round trip. 11 euro for one way. At the top the views are amazing and there is a resturant (did not eat at). The chair lift is located in anacapri. We walked from Port to the chair lift. It is not fair but it is completely all stairs!!!! The views are amazing but pretty hard hike.
Great views but a lot of tourists even in the beginning of the season. Took us almost 3 hours from the Capri porte to the summit and quite expensive, cheapest way up will cost about 23 euros per person.
As for the location itself it's astounding and gives you panoramic view of the island and bay of Naples with a great view of Vizuvio volcano above Pompei
Amazing panoramic view form the top of the highest mountain on the island of Capri. Unfortunately when we got on top all the bars were closed so we were quite thirsty … it would be great if at least an vending machine would exist on top.
A must if you go to Capri island! You can go by walk or by the chairlift, but I strongly recommend the chairlift :)
Went up top and down by chairlift. Worth the money as you can see some nice views going up and down. I agree with other people that there is absolutely amazing panoramic view from the top.
We went to other places with views across an island and I should say that Monte Solaro is by far the best. If you have a limited time on Capri, visit to Monte Solaro is the must.
